slow motion video of Team ORECA driver Stephane Ortelli crashed during today’s Le Mans Series race at Monza. Stephane was driving the ORECA Courage LC70-Judd, when she lost control of the car, which spun off the pavement and onto the grass. The prototype then became airborne, barely missing Allan McNish in the Audi R10 TDI, rolling couple of times in the air & then crashing against the barricade.

We are happy to report that Ortelli only suffered a broken ankle and is otherwise in good health.
