Europeans have figured out a while ago, that new generation of Diesel engines are much more eco friendly, fuel efficient and torquer then gas engines. Believe it or not, Diesel engines have pretty much cough up with the Gasoline engines … I’d even say surpassed them in terms of technology at this point of time.
